And now for a short break for some idiocy

Next, a fight over the draperies!

I have some big ideas for Marin and Lila, but I currently lack time. A big presentation for my Master’s degree is due in three weeks and while my team is making some great progress, we have a distance to go.

Rather than draw you some really quick-and-ugly strips in the canon of the story, we’re going to shift back to idiot comics for the next few updates. Those of you who like the canon stuff better will be relieved to know that as soon as I can find time to draw again, I will. Those of you who actually like the idiocy comics better will be relieved to know you’re getting at least four.

Birthday Weekend Update

A quick review:

  • Awesome birthday party Saturday night, much good food, much good company.
  • Great time with my family Sunday night celebrating family birthdays and Father’s Day.
  • Work today, a long-ish day, but survivable.

Now:

  • Homework, then work on my super-secret project.
  • Changes to the Sites page to catch it up as well.

Tomorrow:

  • Off. Sleep. Maybe some drawing. Probably mostly homework.

Post Streak Continues

I’m home from work, finally, and relaxing for just a few minutes. I have many bugs to squash in the program for class, but wanted to continue my streak of posting. Plus dinner to cook. Oh, and I think I need to sleep, since I didn’t get to bed until after 1 this morning.

Anyway, it was a good day. Not much to report. I did get a chance to read some new comics, and I’ll definitely be adding Ornery Boy, Dicebox, and Green: Wicked Wicked Ways to the list.

The Phillies are winning and dinner’s in progress. A good night!

99 Grade Balloons…

Grade inflation due to grade pressure? What’s grade pressure feel like? If I’m about to graduate with what will hopefully be a 4.0 with my Master’s degree, should I assume I’ve experienced grade inflation at some point?

Then again, at least I’ve never gone back to a professor in either undergrad or graduate school and whined about a grade. (High school? Yeah, I did it in high school.)

Now, off to write some php.
