Night, and the stars for keeps

Today’s forecast, migraine-level headache with steady throbbing pain throughout the day, accompanied by occasional crackling noises in the cheek sinuses, nausea, and the desire to throw the livingroom clock through a window because it’s ticking too loud.
whee, fun.
A few quick notes before I crash:
Hey, by the time you read this it’ll be August. (In fact, it’s August now!) Please vote on Top Web Comics! Oh, and happy August!
So, Tuesday’s comic (a semi-serious one, for a change) is in the queue. That’s 36 hours before it needs to be there. That’s progress.
I have three half-sketched comics in my sketchbook now, which is also progress, except that my ages-old scanner is not Mac OS X Tiger compatible, so I’ve kinda stalled.
Today I’m going swimsuit shopping, and maybe to go get a new scanner. Otherwise a new scanner’s going on order tonight.
I’ve decided not to work on the website redesign until the queue is a bit more robust. It’ll give me a chance to mull over the CSS issues, too.

I know perfectly well that my grade won’t be up yet – it’d be insane to think my grade would be up today when class only ended on Wednesday…. still, I’m reloading the gradesite for PSU students about once an hour… no luck yet… dangit!
It’s like playing some warped slot machine – I really want to hit the 4.0 jackpot, I’m terrified I’m going to bust out with an A-, and so far all I’m getting is “free roll, try again”.
This hurts my head!
No wonder it takes me 20 minutes to find the right colors when coloring my comics!
