My first thought was that this would be a horrific blight upon humanity. This was based upon two facts: 1) 90+% of the movies that come out now are simply awful; and 2) the last movie I saw recycling a beloved part of my childhood (Transformers) caused me pain I can only verbalize as “like having flaming railroad spikes wrapped in barbed wire driven into my eyes with electrified hammers”. But then I saw who will be writing and directing it. Now, I didn’t SEE Hoodwinked, but from the commercials I remember, I think it’s safe to say my first thought was ridiculously optimistic.
On the other hand, I’ve heard good things about Iron Man.
