Cookie Monster was on NPR and there’s a video on this page. His voice has changed a bit since I was a kid ;) but he hasn’t changed all that much. Only ate one plate… maybe it was two…. so I guess his diet has improved.

I just listened to that “In Character” podcast! It was so much fun to hear Cookie Monster being, well, Cookie Monster.
I’m so glad they stopped that “a cookie is a sometimes food” bs. Cookie monster has always eaten waaaaay more things than cookies. Carrots. Roast Beef. Volkswagens….
